Stampin' Up! Blessings of Home - Birthday Card

Image
Who loves colouring?? You know, I'm actually not that good at it! But these alcohol markers are so forgiving, and it's easy to make a professional-looking, beautiful card 😊 The Blessings of Home stamp set has some beautiful floral images that are perfect for colouring, but also look beautiful in black and white. I stamped and coloured the image and cut it using the matching dies. I adhered the flowers using dimensionals to prop it up, and layered it onto a strip of beautiful DSP from the Heart & Home DSP, on a Basic White card base. I stamped the sentiment using white heat embossing on Basic Black cardstock and added it to the card using the black dimensionals. I finished it off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies 🦋 If you would like to check out any of the products I used to make this card, click on the links below to go straight to my online store 😊 Happy stamping! x Lauren Product List Blessings Of Home Bundle (English) [ 157939 ] $90.00 Hear...

Stampin' Up! Bloom Where You're Planted - Birthday Card

Image
I have a little box in my drawer where I put excess die cuts and stamped images that I cut and changed my mind about (what do you with your little extra bits??) I decided to make a card with some excess bits today for my brother's birthday and this is what I came up with! I've been using this beautiful In-Colour, Evening Evergreen, and seeing some new product with other Demonstrators in our On Stage events with Stampin' Up! as well - those green leaves and grey dots come from a beautiful new suite of products called "Heart & Home" that will be available when the new mini catalogue is released in January! The circle of Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the star of the show on this card and comes from the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP. I layered it with a circle in Sahara Sand, and tucked-in some dies-cut leaves underneath. The strip of Evening Evergreen cardstock was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Emboss Folder and then torn and adhered to the side....

Stampin' Up! Hand Penned Petals - Birthday Card

This suite of products is just so delicately beautiful - I think you could chuck together anything from this suite and have a lovely card! For this one, I used the stamp set, dies and DSP (designer series paper) from the suite and took a sentiment from the Timeless Tropical set. Lately I have not been feeling very creative, and have found it difficult to build the motivation to make cards. Catalogue to the rescue! Did you know our catalogues are also called "Idea Books"?? When I'm not feeling the crafting mojo, I flick through the catalogue to get inspiration (Pinterest is good too!) and I got inspiration for today's card from this image from page 25 of the catalogue: As you can see, I didn't use any of the same products, but I did a bit of colouring, a bit of embossing, and used a pretty strip of DSP! So mine actually turned out looking quite different, but the creative mojo kicked in!  The hand-penned stamp set has stamps that act as colour-filler for the flow...
