Stampin' Up! Pattern Play - Confetti and Stripes Card
I am loving my blender pens at the moment! For this card, I made a fun background using the blender pens on vellum, and created the effect by flicking isopropyl alcohol all over - I think it gives a "confetti" look. I chose a rainbow of colours and then drew a line of the lighter pen, then darker underneath - this breaks up the colours a little on the vellum and gives a lighter, happier visual - and this is what confetti is all about 😃
I layered the vellum on top of a piece of Whisper White cardstock - this way it just highlights the colours on the vellum - and then onto a layering piece of Magenta Madness. I raised this with dimensional onto a Whisper White card base.
The sentiment if from the Pattern Play stamp set, and I have heat embossed in white, onto a Basic Black piece of cardstock and fussy-cut it out. The ribbon comes from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack - this is such a great pack as the three ribbons are so different from each other; great value for money! I always hold ribbon in place with some glue dots, before layering the sentiment with dimensionals.
On the inside of my card, I got this ombre effect by inking in Magenta Madness, and using a sponge dauber to sponge on a little Coastal Cabana (which mixed to create the purple colour).

Happy stamping!
