Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine - Pineapples Galore!
What to do with leftover pineapples?? Make more cards of course!! There are so many leftover pieces in the Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine, that the creativity goes on and on - and the stamp set is so cute that I have unending ideas.
For this card, I did some watercolouring on shimmery white cardstock in Pretty Peacock ink, and splattered in with gold embossing. This is achieved by flicking water onto the cardstock and then quickly covering it with embossing powder (before it dries), heat with the heat tool and voilà! The sentiment is also heat embossed in white, and I layered it all up to add some dimension using some Forever Greenery DSP, Pretty Peacock cardstock, gold metallic cardstock, and a Crumb Cake base.
I've been in a splattering kind of mood! I speckled this in Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and Daffodil Delight, after embossing it with the Subtle embossing folder. I layered a piece of Playing with Patterns under the pineapple, and the card front onto Daffodil Delight. I wrapped some linen thread around, and adhered to a Crumb Cake base with some dimensionals. The sequins on the front are more leftovers from the Paper Pumpkin kit.
I started this card by cutting a swirly circle with the Painted Labels Dies and layered it onto Coastal Cabana, and stuck the pineapple on top. I gold embossed a sentiment onto some torn vellum and wrapped it around the layers, before adhering it to a Whisper White base. I added some Playing with Patterns Resin Dots to finish it off.
