Crazy Crafters Swaps - On Stage At Home Nov 2020
It's that time again! Swaps time!
If we were in normal times, I would currently be off having fun at the Stampin' Up! On Stage event that they hold twice a year for demonstrators, where I would be celebrating achievements, watching crafting demonstrations and getting a sneak peak at the new MINI CATALOGUE! But this time around, we are celebrating a different way with On Stage@Home - it's been a great alternative to the face-to-face event, but one thing we would normally get to do is SWAPS, where we make a stack of cards and swap them out with cards made by people we meet.
So to make up for this, our wonderful leaders in the Crazy Crafters team, Kylie and Bruno Bertucci, have facilitated a remote swap! I sent off 10 cards and received 10 in return made by my peers 😊
For my card, I used the wonderful Well Written dies and cut out all of the white shapes - the little leaf shape and circle are shapes left from cutting out the other flowers and vines. I arranged everything on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock that I embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, then took a piece of Glad Press 'n' Seal to stick over the top - it's a bit like plastic wrap but has a low-tack stick to it so it picks up all of the little white pieces. I added liquid glue to each piece and then flipped it back on top of the Night of Navy piece to stick down. A little fiddly, but worth it I think!
I took a small piece of the Mint Macaron ribbon from the Basket Weave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack and then layered a die-cut "thanks" from the Well Written dies that I layered 3 times for dimension.
