Stampin' Up! Christmas - Crackers!

Image
Who doesn't love a Christmas cracker?? In Australia, it is an integral part of our Christmas meal - a terrible joke, a paper crown and a useless piece of plastic.... well I don't like the useless piece of plastic that ends up in the bin at the end of the day! So for the last few years, I've made my own 😀 As Christmas approaches, I hold onto our toilet paper rolls and then select a Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper to make them pretty! This year, I'm using Snowflake Splendor DSP - it's so beautiful that I didn't feel the need to decorate them any more than just this lovely paper! I chose to use two different ribbons as well - the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, and the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, coloured with Purple Posy Blends Markers.  Here's what you'll need: White paper measuring 30cm x 14cm Toilet paper roll (+ 2 spare) Decorative paper measuring 10cm x 15cm (most craft papers come as 12"x12" so you can cut this into 6"x4" pie...

Stampin' Up! Christmas - Gift Wrapping

Image
It's getting to that time! Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?? I've almost finished...But my favourite part is actually the wrapping part! I wanted to show you how easy it is to make a beautifully decorated gift with Stampin' Up! products 😀 I have wrapped my gifts in some brown paper and Christmas wrapping paper I got from Kmart, and tied a ribbon around each - one using the Forever Greenery Trim, and the other one is a sneak peak from the new mini catalogue called Fine Art ⅜" Ribbon. I made these quick tags using some must-have punches - the sprig punch and the gleaming ornaments punch. I used the Snowflake Wishes set to decorate, and stamped-off once with Misty Moonlight ink to get a lighter image of the snowflakes. Let the punches do the work! Stampin' Up! Christmas - Sparkly Season Card

Image
This set is simply gorgeous! This week I want to show you some of the other items from the suite with a stepped-up card. Let me take you through how I made this one! I took a layer of shimmery white card and embossed it with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, then I flicked some Wink of Stellar for some sparkle. I layered that onto some Misty Moonlight cardstock and then onto a Whisper White card base. I punched a circle of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper with a 2¼" punch and adhered with liquid glue. I used the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut out snowflakes in Brass Foil, and from another image on the Snowflake Splendor DSP. I heat embossed a snowflake onto Purple Posy cardstock and punched it out with the 1½" punch - it's the perfect size for it! I adhered them all onto the front of the card, layering so that each beautiful element can be seen. I heat embossed a sentiment in white from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set onto Basic Black cardstock and cut around...
