Crazy Crafters Swaps - Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration

For those of you who don't know, I am a member of Kylie Bertucci's Crazy Crafters, and we like to share our creativity with each other through "swaps". The occasion for these swaps are to showcase the products from the new January-June mini catalogue, and coordinating Sale-A-Bration items available January/February 2021 (get items for free when you spend $90 or more!). We each make 10 of the same card and send them off to be redistributed to other members, and get 10 different cards in return.

This is the card I made for the other Crazies featuring the Ice Cream Corner Suite of products! The ice cream itself is made with the Ice Cream Builder Punch - you can make little ice cream cones in any colour you like with this nifty punch! I made mine by punching images from the beautiful coordinating Designer Series Paper.


On a Crumb Cake cardstock base, I layered Purple Posy, more Crumb Cake, some torn Vellum, a length of Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon, and then I cut a stitched circle of Pearlescent Paper and embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the ice cream cone on top and placed the sentiment on top that is white heat embossed on black cardstock.

Stampin' Up! One Sheet Wonder - Paper Blooms

  I made 14 beautiful cards from 1 sheet of 12"x12" (31.5cmx31.5cm) Designer Series Paper! And guess what! I got the whole stack of Designer Series Paper for free!! In the month of February, if you spend $90 or more, you can choose a free item (and this is one of the options!). I designed a breakdown of the sheet of DSP to suit Australian card sizes, and so that nothing goes to waste. I then layered each piece with some Night of Navy cardstock by adding 3mm to each measurement (that way, just a peak of colour borders the design piece).  The cute little butterflies come from the Floating & Fluttering set - it has a big stamp as part of the set that has a college of butterflies and leaves, that matches with a die in the coordinating set. I stamped 4 of these and cut them out in a flash! ...and I used all of them across the 14 cards as a feature. I used a combination of sentiments from other sets (see full list below). Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance - Thanks Card

  There's a beautiful new bundle available called Butterfly Brilliance, which includes a stamp set, dies, some designer series paper, and some specialty paper: Today I want to show you a card I made using the beautiful dies from this bundle - There are 6 large butterfly dies, that have an extra die to cut out a detailed overlay, which is featured in my card today. The background is made with vellum, layered onto some white cardstock. I then used a variety of Stampin' Blends to colour the vellum, starting with the darker of the blues and working out. I then flecked it with some isopropyl alcohol to make the bubbly look. Once properly dry, I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to lay out a line of adhesive and stuck the Gilded Leafing Embellishment on top of it, pressing it down on the glue, then rubbing off the excess. Stampin' Up! Expressions In Ink - Birthday Card

  I have another 'Artistically Inked' card for you! This is such a beautiful set - you can make such lovely background images, so simply! This card uses one of the ink images stamped a couple of times to create this background, and I added some gilded leafing with the fine tip glue pen. I adhered one of the laser-cut gold pieces from the ephemera pack and stamped the sentiment in black embossing.
