Stampin' Up! Artfully Layered - Thank you card

Image
I had to put together a VERY quick thank you card, and what better to use than some punches and DSP?? This card is so simple, yet pretty, and still holds a WOW factor! I layered a strip of designer series paper (sshhh! it's Christmas paper!) onto some Evening Evergreen cardstock and a Basic White card base. Then I punched out my shapes, stamped a sentiment onto my cloud piece and arranged then on the card with some linen thread and embellishments. So simple! If you're interested in any of the items in this card, there is a list below with links to my store. Stampin' Up! Abstract Beauty - Birthday Card

Image
Have you seen the Abstract Beauty suite?? I'm in love! 😍 The shapes! The colours! The paper! This suite includes a stamp set, a set of cards and envelopes, dies, embellishments, DSP, and a beautiful ephemera pack. For this card, I used the stamp set, dies and ephemera pack pieces, and took inspiration from the colour palate for the card backing as well. The hexagon is cut using the dies and embossed using the Greenery Embossing Folder. The flowers come from the Ephemera Pack, and I used some Matte Black Dots for embellishment.  For the backing, I cut strips of Cardstock using colours that match the product suite and layered them onto a Basic White card base. I flicked black ink from my Stampin' Write Marker and white embossed some fun chevron images below where the centrepiece would go. I used a sentiment from the Artfully Layered stamp set and propped it all up using Dimensionals. I cut the ribbon down the middles and tied it with some linen thread to make a messy look. If...

Stampin' Up! Blessings of Home - Birthday Card

Image
Who loves colouring?? You know, I'm actually not that good at it! But these alcohol markers are so forgiving, and it's easy to make a professional-looking, beautiful card 😊 The Blessings of Home stamp set has some beautiful floral images that are perfect for colouring, but also look beautiful in black and white. I stamped and coloured the image and cut it using the matching dies. I adhered the flowers using dimensionals to prop it up, and layered it onto a strip of beautiful DSP from the Heart & Home DSP, on a Basic White card base. I stamped the sentiment using white heat embossing on Basic Black cardstock and added it to the card using the black dimensionals. I finished it off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies 🦋 If you would like to check out any of the products I used to make this card, click on the links below to go straight to my online store 😊 Happy stamping! x Lauren Product List Blessings Of Home Bundle (English) [ 157939 ] $90.00 Hear...
