Stampin' Up! Hello Beautiful - Celebration Card

Oooo these alcohol markers can make some really special-looking effects! This effect is easier than you think with the right tools :)

Using a piece of vellum, colour patches with alcohol ink - I used Blackberry Bliss. Next, drop some isopropyl alcohol, one drop at a time, pushing the liquid around with air until it dries - I use an air blower, but you could use a straw. Repeat until you're happy with the effect!

I paired this alcohol ink design with some gold elements - some leafy bits made with the Bough Punch, some Brushed Brass Butterflies, and some Gilded Leafing. I glued the Gilded Leafing using the fine tip glue pen because it doesn't dry tacky - add some glue to your cardstock, lay down the leafing, leave it to dry a bit, press it down, then brush of the excess. Simple!

The sentiment comes from the Hello Beautiful set in white embossing, and cut out with the matching dies.

This is a range of easy techniques that make an impressive look! I would love to see what you can come up with using some of these techniques!

Happy stamping!
