Stampin' Up! Forever Greenery - Love Card

Image
This annual catalogue has such a nice mix of florals and leaves - it's definitely a feature! So if you love floral images, then this is your time to shine 💖 On this card, I have used a mix of the flowers from the Flowers for Every Season DSP, and leaves from the Forever Greenery - using DSP is a quick and easy way to add a beautiful image that you haven't stamped or coloured yourself. The new in-colours - Magenta Madness & Just Jade - offer a beautiful pop of colour against the background of Crumb Cake, and the Gold Foil gives a layer of elegance. I love these laser-cut gold foil pieces - there are so many in the pack and adding just one piece gives such an amazing look for something so simple! I have stamped the crumb cake layer with leaves in Versamark - it gives a subtle look but very effective. I've used a Crumb Cake base, and layered some Whisper White in there too. The gold foil piece has been stuck with sparingly-dabbed liquid glue, and the fl...

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern - Simple Stamping Card

Image
Hello again! This week I wanted to show you a simple stamping example so you can see how easy it is to make a beautiful card with this versatile set! This was such a quick card to make and so simple - less can definitely be more in card making! I have used the soft subtlety of Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam, with a hint of the new Brass Foil Sheets to make it special. I love a good "speckle" stamp, and this set has one! I made this effect by stamping the speckles three times on either side of the band without re-inking in-between, and turning the stamp to a different direction for each press as well. You can see a full list of supplies that I used by clicking here! Happy stamping! x Lauren

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern - Friendship Card

Thanks for stopping by to see this week's creation from the Forever Greenery suite! As you know, I love the greens from this suite and loved seeing people's creations using all of the contrasting greens together. However, I love the little inclusion of a bit of pink or purple to really have that beautiful contrast. I used a mix of Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Vellum, and gold specialty paper to make this creation. I made the card by layering a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock on a Whisper White base and adding a smaller layer of Whisper White cardstock that has been embossed with the new Old World Paper 3D embossing folder - this is my new favourite embossing folder! I wrapped a piece of ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season combo pack around the layers before adhering them to the base. The piece of Forever Gold specialty paper was adhered with glue dots, the sentiment with dimensional, and each of elements carefully stuck underneath with glue dots as well. ...

Forever Greenery Suite When I saw this suite, I fell in love 💚💚💚 oh, the greens! And it features the enchanting new In-Colour; Just Jade. This suite has so many beautiful elements that can be used in such diverse ways. There was a card in the catalogue that caught my eye and so I just had to make it as soon as my products arrived - they don't call it an inspiration book for nothing! I often make the example cards in the catalogue when I'm looking for some crafting mojo. Here is the result: It perfectly showcases the suite as it uses every item! The designer series paper is stunning, using 6 different shades of green from the Stampin' Up! colour collection, and paired with the metallic gold of the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and Gold Hoops, it makes for a gorgeous card! I used glue dots to secure the hoop, and raised the embossed piece with dimensionals. I have created a list in my shop so you can easily select the items that take ...
